Watch the Guy Mitchell Interview about Rush in ’65 – This is Must See TV!
Cost
In the last 60 years we’ve learned a lot, including: “there’s no free lunch!” One thing I’ve learned recently is that travel has become increasingly expensive. Airfare, hotels, restaurants…they are all “up, up and away.” I’ve done my best to work with the Barnsley staff to make this celebration at least reasonable. Here’s the math per person:
King Room/Resort Fee/Taxes ($434/night) | $868 |
Three Group Meals/Gratuity/Tax Dinners (Tues. & Wed.), Lunch (Wed.) |
$328 |
Breakfast | TBD |
Extra Fee Activities (Golf, Shooting, Horseback Riding) |
TBD |
So, it’s about $1,200 per person before individual charges for breakfast and any extra fee activities. I explored several other resort properties that were even more expensive and they don’t offer the unique setting or amenities that are available at Barnsley.
There will also be a “group assessment” for venues/programs/hospitality suite. Your share will depend on the final total attending, but I anticipate it will run around $50-75 per person.
Schedule
While our celebration is admittedly a year away, in order to nail down the use of Barnsley’s special venues, we have to have a pretty complete plan, as follows:
